MX101 is a motocross education space for riders of every level, from a four-year-old on their first 50 to racers chasing national results. We coach riders in person through one-on-one sessions, weekly club training, junior schools and multi-day camps, and we back it up with video tutorials riders can come back to between sessions.

Our mission is to bring safe riding to every rider, and to give them the foundations to go all the way to the top. We also want to be a true one-stop shop — offering everything a rider needs from the day they enter the sport to the day they leave: spare parts, accessories, graphics, advice, suspension, bike setup, coaching and technique. We believe in slow, consistent progress. Get the technique right first, and the speed follows.

MX101 has run coaching schools in every Australian state and works with more than 1,500 families a year. Alongside coaching, our Rockingham workshop handles servicing, suspension and race prep, and our parts store keeps riders stocked with the gear and consumables they need.

MX101 Coaching was founded by Jayden Rykers, a Perth-born former professional rider and 13-time State Champion who raced at the top level in Australia and overseas. Over his racing career, Jayden trained under more than eight different coaches, each with their own style and methods. He kept the parts that worked, dropped the parts that didn't, and built them into one system — the MX101 coaching philosophy and playbook every MX101 coach now works from.

Our coaching mission is to teach safe riding and give every rider the foundational platform to go to the top — a solid toolbox of skills, and the knowledge to keep using it. Coaching is step one in this sport. Race day is where those tools get put to work.

We coach the whole rider, not just the laps. That means technique on the bike, but also fitness, bike setup, preparation and the mental side of riding.
